Daegu International Airport has introduced Smart Entry Service (SES) for people regardless of nationality. SES allows you to check in and out at the airport without going through an agent by using passport, fingerprints, and facial information. This only takes 12 second on average.
If you are a citizen of a country other than Korea, you must be at least 17 years old and have foreign registration card (or have reported domestic residence) to benefit this service. You need to register for the service to use it.
For Koreans, minimum age requirement is 7 and if you are more than 19 years old, you can use the service without registration.
