A great new to Russian friends living in Daegu has been released! A new flight to Vladivostok will launch from Daegu International Airport on April 6. With this, the Korea's fast growing airport offers total 19 regular routes that are composed of 3 domestic and 16 international flights.

The local airport is the 3^rdairport in the peninsula that provides a direct route to Vladivostok following Incheon and Gimpo international airports. Daegu Metropolitan City is expecting that cultural and economical exchange between the two countries will increase. A round-trip costs 400,000 won on average.

Checking in takes only 12 sec at Daegu International Airport

Daegu International Airport has introduced Smart Entry Service (SES) for people regardless of nationality. SES allows you to check in and out at the airport without going through an agent by using passport, fingerprints, and facial information. This only takes 12 second on average.

If you are a citizen of a country other than Korea, you must be at least 17 years old and have foreign registration card (or have reported domestic residence) to benefit this service. You need to register for the service to use it.

For Koreans, minimum age requirement is 7 and if you are more than 19 years old, you can use the service without registration.
