5 Fav Summer Things TO DO in DAEGU

I often get asked, “What is there to do in Daegu?” Here is MY Summer Top 5:
1.          King Kong Course at Hillcrest
2.          Hiking new trails at Apsan Park
3.          Trying new things with friends: MK Pilates
4.          Street Churros at Suseong Lake
5.          Watching Baseball at Daegu Samsung Lions Park

1. King Kong Course at Hillcrest, 1003, Gachang-ro, Gachang-myeon, Dalseong-gun, Daegu
Hillcrest is an amusement & ecological theme park set in the mountainside featuring an extensive herb garden, petting zoo, kiddie rides, ziplining, and obstacle course suspended high in the tree canopies. King Kong Course is rated hardest of the 3 offered and has a minimum age of 20 to even attempt it.

The very first obstacle of the King Kong Course is a 30 ft rock climbing wall. Once at the top, there is no room for fear of heights here! Note: because of the way individual harnesses are connected into the safety cable, it does not allow you to pass others, be passed, or go back! So, forward you go!

There are 5 ziplines and 19 suspension obstacles hovering between 30ft – 40ft above the park grounds. You can see families enjoying Hillcrest below, and they can see you; high above them working hard and being brave! There are definitely PHYSICAL DEMANDS to complete this course. It is a great workout in one of the prettiest settings in Daegu. It is not an adrenaline rush like other zipline courses in the USA, but it does have unique challenges breaking up the routine of daily city life. Thanks for visiting!
