6 Spring Korean Street Foods You Must Try |SPRING FEAST in DAEGU


When you are living in a foreign country, getting used to or even enjoying local street foods tells you a lot about how much you have tried to experience the local culture! If you haven’t checked off all on the list, get a group of friends this weekend and go for a street food hunt! If you can bring your Korean friend for this feast trip, that’s even better. Because all food on this least have very soft spot for Koreans with nostalgic and fun memories!

No. 1 MUK (Korean jelly)


  
When the appetite increases in springtime, Koreans eat this jelly with soy sauce.
You can find a store at a traditional market, called sijang in Korean, that sells muk. Some stores sell it with sauce, other don’t. Two most popular muk types are acorn jelly(brown) and mung bean jelly(white).

No. 2 DALGONA or Ppopgi (Sugar Candy)

No. 3 Dokkaebi Corn Dog (Corn Dog with French Fries)


This funny looking corn dog is decorated with French fries around it. It’s called “dokkaebi” since it resembles the weapon that Korean monster “dokkabi” carries. Crispy fries, puffy flour and salty sausage is what you need to solve your spring appetite!
