The striking colors of yuchae flowers is what you deserve in Daegu during the spring. Hajungdo island, located in Geumho river, is filled with yellow yuchae flower and open to public beginning April 7(The date may be subject to change depending on the weather. Yuchae flower, which is translated as rape flower, got its name from a latin word “rapum” that means turnip. This flower looks similar to canola flower. Yuchae flower is one of the most popular flowers that symbolizes spring for Koreans. Yuchae flower field is best known for one in Jeju Island but you can see a huge one in Daegu without flying!
The yuchae blossom is expected to be at its peak 1 or 2 weeks after the opening date.Plan ahead your trip to Hajungdo flower field. Spread the news to your friends inside and outside Daegu!
