2. QUICK FACTS
─ Bandabi is the mascot of PyeonChang Paralympic Winter Games that is inspired by the Asiatic black bear. Its name came from the Korean words “ban-dal” which means half-moon.
─ Paralympic athletes compete in 6 winter sports: Alpine Skiing, Biathlon, Cross-Country Skiing, Ice Hockey, Snowboard, Wheelchair Curling
─ 3 countries to make their first appearance at Winter Paralympics: North Korea, Georgia and Tajikistan.
─ 570 Athletes compete for 80 medal events, which is 8 more than in Sochi Winter Paralympics.
─ Russian athletes compete as neutrals like at Olympics.

3. DAEGU TO PYEONCHANG
If you like to like to use public transportation to go to Pyeonchang from Daegu, KTX is an easy and convenient option. You can book your KTX or any other train tickets at Let’s Korail website. Pyeonchang2018 Official Store at Lotte Department Store
The official offline shop is at Lotte Department Store(Daegu branch) located at Daegu Station(Subway Line1). You can find products such as stuff dolls, clothes, accessories, souvenirs, stationary products and toys.

*The store will run throughout the Paralympics and close in the mid March.
